A runaway freight train is on a fast-track to armageddon, hurtling out-of-control towards the city of Denver and packed with explosive chemicals and a smuggled nuclear bomb. Destruction and derailment are not options - this train must be stopped and only one man is crazy enough to try and do it...if he can live long enough. He's train wreck expert John Seger (Rob Lowe), a man who was born ready and whose time for action has come with a tick-tock trip to terror as he battles to defuse the bomb and avoid a nuclear holocaust. The fast-approaching horror provokes some in the city to violence and chaos, while others show extraordinary courage in the face of an extra-ordinary catastrophe.
