Set in 1930s London, Ballet Shoes tells the inspiring tale of Pauline Petrova and Posy Fossil , who are adopted by an eccentric explorer, "Gum" , and raised as sisters by his selfless niece and her nurse. Each of the girls has a dream to fulfil; Pauline longs to an actress, Petrova yearns to be actress, Petrova yearns to be an aviator, and Posy seems born to be a ballerina. But when "Gum" disappears, the money runs out and feisty, ambitious and devoted Fossils find they must fight to survive... Loved this film. The humour, pathos and gentle story about the three orphans and everyone that arrives at the house to come to help them. Believes in Destiny and Trust in God's plan that everything will be alright in the end.
