This is not a good movie. Even by recent MCU standards.
The acting is OK, but the script is awful and the plot is muddled and childish. Unfortunately It looks like it has been cobbled together from a rejected episode of the TV series "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" and a high-end video game. There is no consistency of style or art direction. The combination of grungy live action and pristine over-saturated CGI VFX do not sit well together.
The action sequences also suffer from inconsistency of execution. Sometimes exciting, but also sometimes truly awful. There are a couple of fight sequences where although the choreography is OK, the staging and editing are so amateurish that it is hard to believe the director or the editor have ever made a movie before. There are some great examples in these sequences of how "crossing the line" in film-making can completely destroy the flow of action.
Halfway through this movie I was ready to give up. I actually only stuck it out so that I could honestly base my review on the whole movie.
If you have seen the trailers for this movie, you have seen the best bits (by far).
