- Synopsis:
- French Fields is a British comedy series that serves as a spin-off to the comedy series Fresh Fields. The series follows husband and wife, William (Anton Rodgers) and Hester Fields (Julia McKenzie), a couple who find themselves moving to Calais when William gets a job working for a French firm. The series follows their attempts to fit in at the new community estate they live at with their snobby English neighbours and a few local French people. The series shows the difficulties of this culture clash but also the fun that comes with it.
