- Special envoy of the Pentagon, Paul Gleason (Louis Gossett Jr.) arrives in Nicaragua with a mission: to find Dennis Rice (John Savage). In reality, Gleason must eliminate Rice, an agent infiltrated in a cartel of which he would henceforth be one of the leaders. An act of treason? In appearance only. In his investigation, threatened by Bartel, the biggest trafficker in the country, he goes from surprise to surprise, discovering that the supposed dead is alive and that he has good reasons to hide, to flee the same Bartel who, against his life and that of his family, expects a list of corrupt officials from him...
