A powerful and intense thriller, 'To Kill a Priest' is the story of Father Alex (Christopher Lambert), a Polish labour union chaplain who dares to mix prayers with politics in his quest fora free and just Poland. The people are mesmorised by their young leader - except one man. He is secret police captain Stefan (Ed Harris) who burns with the belief that Father Alex and his solidarity ideals are a treat to his beloved country. Intent on ridding the nation of this turbulent priest, Stefan plots the arrest of Father Alex only to release him again under pressure from Rome. A few days later Father Alex's body is found dumped in a reservoir. 'To Kill a Priest' is based on the true story of two men passionate in their beliefs and both ready to die for their faith. - Actors:
