whilst having a quality cast and a good story line it seemed to be a budget type film, we were pleased when the film finished. Also contains what is now called Aged humour .

It shows the kindness of strangers, modern society and little job worths.

We sat totally absorbed about the tail that unfolded on the screen, we had the odd tear of joy and sadness as his journey progressed down the country.

Timothy Spall was excellent.

We were expecting some hillbillies chasing students in the woods, what we watched was unexpected and surprisingly kept us hooked with a great twist at the end. It kept us speaking about it for several days afterwards and also away from our woods whilst dog walking for the same time, when it was dropping dark.

Yes a little bit far fetched, but you watch a film for escapism, especially these days.

Only afterwards did we look further into the film and realise it was a remake of other films, some of which we have now put on out rental list. Sure these will look dated, but there you go.

Initial thoughts oh dear, the filming seems amateur and actors would not be nominated for an Oscar, and we thought about the eject button.

We are so pleased we stuck with the film. It has us both on the edge of sofa several times, a good mixture of supernatural and the evil that men do. Both still talking and thinking about it the following day. It worth watching and I would recommend to friends and colleagues.

For a start it is in black and white and very gloomy, so depressing, with poor sound. No idea what the film was about. After 15 minutes gave up, thinking back we should have switched it off after 5 minutes.

Myself and my wife watched this film, originally thought it was a supernatural thriller, but rapidly descended into a puzzling, dark and very disturbing film. At times we had our eyes closed as could not watch. We were relived when the film ended, totally baffled about what we had just watched and felt uneasy for a good 24 hours afterwards. Shame as had some every good actors.

Whilst the film builds up the tension of what's happen we never find out what's out there. Bit frustrating really as could have a good film and when film finished it left so many questions. Would not recommed

Without doubt the worst film we have ever seen after twenty minutes we switched it off. Very poorly filmed and bad acting. One to avoid.
