Death in Paradise is an intriguing new crime drama series from debut TV writer Robert Thorogood, the series follows the cases of an English copper who is posted to the Caribbean island of Sante Marie. For most people it would be paradise but for Detective Inspector Richard Gill it is the exact opposite, definitely not suited to the Caribbean way of life Gill hates the sea, sand and sun and initially finds the Carribean way of doing things highly disconcerting. He quickly begins to find his feet though as, partnered with local girl Camille, he investigates the murder of a fellow Brit cop.
