Synopsis:
To Let continues the powerful story of the Forsyte Saga, a bitter legacy of power, money, love and betrayal. It is twenty years since Queen Victoria died and while Soames Forsyte struggles with the spirit of social revolution following WW1, his daughter Fleur is falling in love. With no knowledge of the feud that has split the Forsyte family for decades, Fleur is determined that nothing will stand in the way of her love for Jon. But the acrimony between Soames and Irene has not faded with the years, and it is not long before the shadow of the past falls darkly upon the present, with tragic consequences.
Charting the Forsyte dynasty at the height of the Edwardian Era into the modern age, the Forsythe Saga paints a fascinating picture of early twentieth century London society. Protected from the realities of social turmoil through their class and wealth, the Forsyte family's survival is equally threatened by its own greed and jealousies.

I mssed this when it was on TV the first time, but really enjoyed catching up with it. The acting was superb, especially Daniel Lewis as Soames in his older years. Costumes and sets lovely and convincing and a gripping story. Every episode had me hooked.
