Ant and Dec are surprisingly good in Alien Autopsy. Given that they are known as presenters, you forget that they can actually act, too. The film is a humerous account of the faking of the autopy of an alien body, and it's great because there's an element of truth to the story, and also because you sympathise with the characters.
I've seen this cult classic before but I wanted to get it out again. It gets better the more you know it. Everyone knows someone who is like, or has lived like Withnail, and although the film is unpolished and looks slightly dated, that is part of the charm. One you either love or hate, but if you think student squalour has a decadent appeal, get this one out!
Saw half of this and thought it was rubbish.
A sad film, but one to watch. It's interesting to see how people lived in Victorian times.
These are great. If you liked The Office you'll love these, and the cameos from the stars are fabulous.
Not at all what I expected, but there were some incredibly beautiful images presented, and 'Mai' is stunning as a blind ninja. Some of the martial arts moves are somewhat unrealistic, as in The Matrix and Crouching Tiger, but it doesn't seem to matter, the film being something of a mythical tale.
Northern humour at its finest! So many small details run through this series and the next, it's very clever. You like and dislike the main character at the same time.
I got this one out a while ago, forgot I'd seen it and requested it again, so unmemorable it is. Looks good visually and Orlando is gorgeous but there's no substance to it.
This was the worst film I have ever seen. The documentary style of the film makes it seem very realistic but also very boring as it trawls through the day at the school
Very entertaining and amusing if you are the sort of person that likes word games and Shakespeare. I don't know Hamlet and think I may have missed a few things, but still found it a very original film.
Hilarious! Rob Schneider is a Beta- male fish tank cleaner who ends up becoming a gigolo, whilst looking after hunky 'Anoine's' fish. Deuce's nice character wins out, however, and he becomes very sucessful. if you liked The Animal, this is even funnier.
Not as good as Phoenix nights, but entertaining even so. Found it a bit 'laddish' but suppose that is expected given that it is about two bouncers in a camper van.
This is great. A workout challenging enough for someone of average to good fitness. I didn't want to give it back so I went out and bought it.
Very entertaining, you can see why it deserved an Oscar
Well, things just go from bad to worse for the three main characters involved. Didn't know what was going on at the start of the film, but got into it, and ended up thinking the film was interesting, but heavy.
