Their Finest
Their Finest - superb, could watch it a third time
Really loved this film, in fact watched it twice. At the beginning I found it difficult to hear (and see, because of dusty London in the blitz), but after that it was very easy to watch. A good story line, good actors. Poignant with some happy bits, Bill Nighy brilliant. Such a good film. Enjoy.
Lady Bird
Didn’t do it for me
So disappointed. I loved Brooklyn so imagined this would be as good from critics review I read. Sadly I was disappointed. It droned on going nowhere. Another hour and a half of my life I won’t see again.
Manchester by the Sea
45 minutes we won't get back
We were losing the will to live. Gave it about 45 minutes and had no idea where it was all going so we cut our losses and turned the TV on.
Found the sound difficult to hear too.
Parental Guidance
Easy watching
Easy to watch and made us laugh, just the thing for a miserable afternoon. Every grandparent can empathise.
