- Synopsis:
American drama in which a widower struggles to move on from his wife's tragic death until he encounters a new love interest. When Early Landry (John Carroll Lynch) loses his wife in a car accident, he succumbs to a miserable life of solitude, all the while prompted by his sister, Laura (Maura Tierney), to move out with her to Los Angeles so that he can be closer to family and start over. Early gives in and uproots himself to Hollywood, where he comes across a myriad of colourful characters including the flamboyant transgender woman Freda Von Rhenburg (Matt Bomer). The two soon begin a loyal friendship, but when Early begins to realise his romantic feelings for Freda, his family are less than accepting.
