The feature debut of Jerzy Hoffman and Edward Skórzewski is a brilliantly realized crime comedy set in the realities of the Polish People's Republic. The first chapter tells a story of a gang, commanded by the "Professor" (Gustaw Holoubek), planning a perfectly organized assault on a convoy with money. The hero of the second chapter is the leading boring life chemist Anastazy Kowalski (Wieslaw Michnikowski). He loses his job due to negligence, but quickly finds a great way to earn money. However, it is not one hundred percent legal.
