- Synopsis:
A 72 hour whirlwind in the life of Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani (Riccardo Scamarcio), known as 'Modi' to his friends, following a chaotic series of events through the streets and bars of war torn Paris in 1916. On the run from the police, his desire to end his career and leave the city is dismissed by fellow Bohemians French artist Maurice Utrillo (Bruno Gouery), the Belarusian-born Chaim Soutine (Ryan McParland), and Modi's English muse and lover, Beatrice Hastings (Antonia Desplat). Modi seeks advice from his Polish art dealer and friend Leopold Zborowski (Stephen Graham), however, following a night of hallucinations and visions, the chaos in Modi's mind reaches a crescendo when faced with an American collector who can change his life. - Actors:
