The film features two chimney sweeps. Both married and heterosexual, they live two experiences that lead them to question the concept of sexuality and gender. One of them lives his first experience with a man and the other is troubled by a recurring dream, he sees David Bowie as a woman. This does not mean that the two protagonists can define themselves as homosexual or feel they belong to some well-defined gender category. But both have the opportunity to reflect on their own identity and the role that the gaze of others exercises on them.
