Laurence wants Alain. So does Christophe. Alain doesn't know what he wants. Men, women, commitment and freedom are seducing him in every direction but he is incapable of choosing. Or unwilling. When he encounters sexy, dangerous Marc, the only way to get close to him is to become the messenger of Marc's passion for Babette, an entrancing woman whose charms Alain also cannot resist. By this time, Christophe has moved into Alain's flat and Laurence is expecting his child and his hand in marriage. Will Alain find a compromise that will be acceptable to all? A very modern French tale of sex, sex and more sex - a fulsome threesome.

Confusion is not only the title

Lawyer Alain is having affairs with female colleagues and male friends and he doesn't quite know what he is - not even after fathering a boy. In spite af good actors this story is also confusing and farfetched - just watch the wedding scene which could have come from a Hollywood B-movie, but this is a French art house film. So the most exiciting is probably the nudity...
