Probably what you'd expect... - Jayson Bend: Queen and Country review by jc
The acting is hammy, it's filmed on a shoestring and it's entirely predictable, but it didn't stop me laughing at some of the funnier lines. Just like James Bond, it shouldn't be taken too seriously.
If you're not enjoying it the good news is that the main feature is refreshingly short. But this does mean there's room for a couple of other films of Mexican origin - I love world cinema, but these aren't the best examples.

Camp as Christmas - Jayson Bend: Queen and Country review by MI
Ok it’s hammy and camp but quite amusing. The main thing is that it brought to my attention director Matt Carter whose latest film, In from the side, is a total step change and is utterly brilliant. He is a genius: for ‘In from the side’ he directed, wrote the music, and did the titles / end credits too.
