- Both Abel (Nelson A. Rodriguez), who works in social services, and Diego (Andrew L. Saenz), an auto mechanic, have waited a long time for the love they have yearned for. After several chance meetings, the two finally hook up and quickly fall deeply for each other. But when tragedy strikes and Diego's immigration status is revealed, Abel and Diego discover the power of love during uncertain times.

The Power and Tragedy of Love - A Place to Be review by KW
The story of two people who fall in love and the tragic consequences of the that. Excellent performances from the lead actors and the supporting group are also excellent. The raw emotions of the love affair are handled beautifully together with the acceptance of their family's and friends. Not a film for the faint-hearted!

Heart Breaking - A Place to Be review by JR
Wow! This really took me by surprise - a beautiful and tragic love story with believable and brilliant performances from the two leads.
Without giving anything away , be prepared for what happens in the end! Unless you have a heart of stone this film will totally churn you up! You have been warned ! That said, it is very good.
