- Synopsis:
Emily Atef writes and directs this drama starring Marie Bäumer as Austrian film star Romy Schneider. While residing in a rehab clinic and struggling with mental health and addiction issues, Romy prepares to give an interview to journalist Michael Jürgs (Robert Gwisdek), who arrives with photographer Robert Lebeck (Charly Hübner). Still finding it difficult to get over the suicide of her ex-husband, Romy is dealt a further blow before the interview when her teenage son tells her he no longer wants to live with her. Vulnerable and isolated, Michael manages to convince Romy to open up about her life in a series of revealing discussions which give a detailed insight into the star's turbulent life. - Actors:
