A spectacular production of Bizet's dramatic opera Carmen is being presented at Earls Court. Bizet's emotionally powerful score combines magically with the talents of international opera director Steven Pimlott, brilliant stage design by Stefanos Lazaridis and spectacular lighting by David Hersey. Added to this, a cast and chorus of hundreds, internationally renowned soloists as well as toreadors, Spanish Flamenco dancers and horses will create a production certain to eclipse all other theatrical events this year. Carmen will be staged in the centre of Earls Court, surrounded on all sides by audience to create the atmosphere of a Spanish bullring. On entering the building prior to the performance, the audience will find Earls Court transformed by flamenco dancers and toreadors into a colourful world of Spanish Fiesta. - Actors:
