- Initially, Laurie Wade's (Valerie Bertinelli) life could not seem more perfect: she has loving parents, a beautiful home and a handsome husband. But beneath the veneer, Laurie is highly disturbed, and her family remains chillingly blind to her plunge into insanity. As Laurie's behaviour veers from the irrational to the lethal, only her husband seems capable of realising just how dangerous his wife has become. But has he realised too late?
