Germany after the war. At the triangle of Germany / Netherlands / Belgium smuggling flourishes with everything that is good, expensive and rare...Among the many smugglers and gangs, the "Rabatz columns" have proven to be the most daring and daring. At a signal, hundreds of children pour across the border, some of them carrying the contraband under their coats. The border guards can only watch helplessly as they are overrun. The supposed student Hans Fischer (Dieter Borsche) is supposed to help these poor children to free themselves from this milieu and to show them an alternative.
