- Synopsis:
Two friends, Paul (Lou Castel) and Marcus (Jean-Pierre Léaud), question the origin of love by the thread of their emotional experiences. Paul who is an actor, would like to remain with Ulrika (Johanna ter Steege), his lover, but she can not fully reciprocate by the traumatic memory of a love of the past. Thus, Paul returns with his wife to his wife, Franchon (Marie-Paule Laval), about to have his second child. Paul loves his children but does not know how to behave as a father or husband. Family life is unbearable and Paul feels the need to flee. For his part, Marcus is a dilettante who works as a professional writer.
