Pinocchio, now a 12-year-old boy, is still living with Gepetto in his workshop - the old woodcarver who created him, and was granted his fondest wish to have a son. Gepetto is busy finishing puppets for a presentation before the prince at the Royal Puppet Festival, while Pinocchio, being a real little boy now, is more interested in skipping school and going to see 'Madame Flambeau's Canevale Nero' - a tawdry freak show and carnival. However, Madame Flambean is not all she seems, and she ruthlessly mixes a special brew, Magic Elixir, that turns Pinocchio and Gepetto into puppets! Father and son are soon off with the Carnevale, performers with song and dance routines, magical puppets with no strings attached. M so their adventures begin, Pinocchio doing all he can to reverse the dreadful effects of Elixir, and Gepetto getting sidetracked into showbiz. Along the way, they meet many friends and foes, magical and mystical characters, and complete with spectacular special effects, this is a timeless classic that will enchant the whole family.
