- Synopsis:
- "The Tramplers", based on veteran Western writer Will Cook's novel, "Guns of North Texas". Gordon Scott plays Lon Cordeen, son of wealthy Texas land baron and ex-Confederate officer Temple Cordeen (Joseph Cotton). The last to return from the Civil War, he witnesses Temple hanging a Northerner who has been trying to find jobs for freed slaves. Disagreeing with his father's ruthless methods, both he and his brother Hobie (James Mitchum) have a falling out with Temple and together the brothers try to bring peace and equality to Texas only to face the gunmen of Temple Cordeen.
