- Synopsis:
- The story or a friendship developing out of romantic obsession, White Sister stars Sophia Loren and Adriano Celentano. Annibale Pezzi (Celentano), the local communist boss, is a patient of Sister Germana (Loren) the nun attempting to nurse him back to health. However, Annibale does not want to leave her side, so invents one illness alter another to stay in the hospital. Initially opposed to Annibale and his Marxist belief's, Sister Germana finds a mutual respect begins to grow between them...
