The action begins when, on a visit to a New England town, Scooby and the gang are spooked by close encounters with the ghost of Paul Revere and a fire-spouting sea serpent. This is no usual Scooby mystery adventure though, in fact it's a whole new ball game because rather than going solo, the gang team up with their new pals The Fabulous Harlem Globetrotters to solve the mysteries together.
Soon after they join forces the Globetrotters and the Mystery Inc. crew are 'ship-napped' to a creepy island full of ghostly frights. Scooby-Doo and the gang stick with the wise cracking hoopsters and partners in crime-fighting for some slam-dunk crook-busting fun!
