Doctor Who returns for a fourth series Vol.1 with a familiar face alongside the Doctor.
1. Partners in Crime
Donna is determined to find the Doctor again - even if it means braving the villainous Miss Foster and her hordes of sinister Adipose.
2. The Fires of Pompeii
Psychic powers and stone beasts run riot in old Pompeii, but can Donna dare the Doctor to change established history?
3. Planet of the Ood
The Doctor takes Donna to her first alien world - but the Ood-Sphere reveals some terrible truths about the Human Race.
In this series, the Doctor meets new companion Rose Tyler (Billie Piper) while saving her from the living-plastic Nestene Consciousness, before taking her on adventures through time and space, where she meets Charles Dickens (Simon Callow), tries to save her father from dying when she was a child, and helps the Doctor and Captain Jack Harkness (John Barrowman) battle the evil Daleks and save the world.
After a string of small-time scams, Johnny Stewart (Damon Wayans) finally decides to go legit when he meets the woman of his dreams (Stacy Dash). Following her into the Dynasty Credit Card offices, he quickly accepts a low-level job in the mailroom. But the temptation of "free" money - in the form of returned credit cards - is more temptation than Johnny can resist, and soon he and his little brother Seymour Stewart (Marlon Wayans), are on the hilarious shopping spree of a lifetime. When a corrupt executive finds out, he blackmails Johnny into a dangerous fraud scheme that threatens not only his credit rating, but his life.
For generations, the Price family has made very sensible, very conservative shoes for men. But to save the business from imminent bankruptcy, young Charlie Price (Joel Edgerton) turns to an unlikely new creative consultant: a sassy transvestite cabaret singer whose outrageous style and wild design are breath of fresh air in the stuffy old shop!
The Olivier Award-winning Mischief Theatre brings 'Peter Pan Goes Wrong' to the small screen. As part of a commitment to community theatre, The Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society, an amateur dramatics group, has been commissioned to recreate the J.M. Barrie classic as part of the festive season programming. But can they pull it off? Narrated by David Suchet and filmed in front of a live audience, watch as Peter Pan (Greg Tannahill) flies through the air, Captain Hook (Henry Shields) and his pirates set adrift in the lagoon, and Tinkerbell is due to light up the stage in a stunning electrical costume...what can possibly go wrong?! With their trademark comic mayhem, expect hilarious stunts, chaos, technical hitches, flying mishaps and cast disputes on the way to Neverland with hilarious and disastrous results.
Blacklisted by the BBC after ruining Peter Pan, the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society do not take their ban lying down and force themselves back on the TV by hijacking the jewel of the Christmas schedule, a live production of 'A Christmas Carol', staged by a professional cast that includes the legendary Sir Derek Jacobi. With a little help from Sandra's aunt, Dame Diana Rigg, the Cornley gang try to make the show work on television, but they soon realise they are completely out of their depth, with no idea how to direct a live studio or handle the special effects. Worse still, their internal rivalries are revealed on television, while an angry professional cast tries to get back into the studio.
In an all-new story, 'The Dark Knight' travels to a land ruled by sword-wielding samurai and ninja assassins. Beginning in 'Gotham City', Gorilla Grodd's time-displacement machine malfunctions, sending a crazed cast of tyrannical villains back in time to terrorise medieval Japan. The most depraved is Lord 'Joker', who seeks total domination of the feudal states and the final elimination of the legendary Batman. With his arsenal of tech diminishing, can 'The Caped Crusader' gain the advantage to keep Lord Joker and the others from rewriting history? Watch as an ancient legend comes to life in this stunningly realised, adrenaline-fuelled addition to the Batman saga.
A country at war. A city in crisis. Heroes on the battlefield, the Musketeers return from the Spanish front to a Paris seething with resentment, a city on the brink of starvation. The corrupt Governor Feron has been running the capital for his own ends, aided by the brutal Red Guard. But behind Feron hides an even greater menace. Lucien Grimaud is a vicious gangster with a powerful hold over the governor. While Feron might be reasoned with, Grimaud deals only in chaos and rage. Ordered to the heart of this simmering crisis, the Musketeers must face their most treacherous test yet. It's a task that will challenge their allegiances to the crown, throw their personal lives into turmoil and compromise their loyalty to those they love - and to each other.
A dark new chapter unfolds… The Musketeers return in a stunning second series that explodes from the screen with more thrills, action and adventure than ever before. As France teeters on the brink of war with Spain, the death of Cardinal Richelieu has left a void that could yet be filled by an even darker threat. More mercurial and combustible than the Cardinal, Rochefort has a concealed agenda that may bring the whole realm to ruin. Vividly evoking the grit and grime of 17th century Paris's mean streets, this gripping take on the iconic classic is visually spectacular and bursting with invention.
There were a few moments in the third season of the revived 'Doctor Who' when you begin to wonder if the bubble has burst. A couple of tepid Dalek episodes, and a handful of forgettable stories, make you begin - perhaps for the first time since the show's revival - whether it's already hits its peak. But never underestimate the new Doctor Who. For the back run of series three is as good as anything that's gone before it, with ingenious plotting, the clever layering of elements it casually - nah, crucially - refers to later on, and some quite superb individual episodes. It not only restores any hint of lost faith, it sets the bar even higher. Examples? The stunning single story Blink is extremely clever, genuinely scary and has immense rewatch value. While the equally strong double-header of 'Human Nature' and 'The Family of Blood' is a two-parter in the traditional Doctor Who way, building up its story in a measured and really effectively creepy way. Then there's the finale. Presenting the Doctor with one of his finest, most ingenious villains makes for quite brilliant television (albeit with a slightly underwhelming concluding episode), as exciting to long-time fans of Doctor Who as it is for the newcomers.
For Love. For Honour. For Adventure. On the streets of 17th century Paris, law and order is more a fledgling idea than reality, and the Musketeers, Athos, Aramis and Porthos, are far more than merely royal bodyguards for King Louis XIII; they are inseparable, loyal unto death and committed to upholding justice. Together, this crack team of highly trained soldiers fight for honour, for valour, for love, and just for the pure thrill of it. When d'Artagnan arrives in Paris to avenge his father's death he soon impresses the three Musketeers with his bravery and skill, and quickly discovers kindred spirits in these boisterous soldiers. In a series all about passion, loyalty, heroism and brotherhood, d'Artagnan and the Musketeers face a continuing struggle to maintain order and protect the King and Queen, while outwitting the machinations of the shadowy Cardinal Richelieu as he ruthlessly strives to achieve his vision of a modern France along with his hired assassin, the beautiful but mysterious Milady de Winter.
Jonathan Switcher (Andrew McCarthy) has certainly been living up to his name. A frustrated artist, he switches from one dead-end job to another, never managing to hold on to any of them. But all of that changes when a mannequin he created for a department store window comes magically to life! Gorgeous and statuesque, this fibreglass femme fatale (Kim Cattrall) helps Jonathan turn his career around, inspiring him to be the best window dresser in town. But she soon discovers that the real world isn't so easy, when they run into competitors who want to put them out of the business - for good!
Nothing extraordinary ever happens to Carol Peters (Melissa McCarthy), so when she starts getting snarky backtalk from her TV, phone and microwave, she thinks she's being punked. Or losing her mind. In fact, the world's first superintelligence (voiced by James Corden) has chosen to study and observe Carol's attempt to romantically reconcile with her former boyfriend (Bobby Cannavale) to better understand the human condition. Soon, the all-powerful entity takes over her life...with ominous plans to possibly take over the world. Now, Carol is potentially humanity's last chance before this A.I.-with-an-attitude decides to pull the plug.
Your favourite 'Madagascar' pals are back in an all-new adventure! Alex's favourite holiday, Valentine's Day, brings hilarious surprises and excitement for the entire gang. All 14 episodes from the second series of the relaunched sci-fi adventure drama, starring David Tennant as the latest incarnation of the legendary Time Lord. In this series, the tenth Doctor takes companion Rose Tyler (Billie Piper) to New Earth and struggles to overcome the effects of regeneration. In the opening Christmas episode London is deluged by Santa Claus impersonators and Christmas trees intent on malice. Mankind is threatened by a planetary invasion and there's only the Prime Minister to battle it out.
