- Synopsis:
Jack Lai and Ng Yuen-fai direct this historical sci-fi action adventure which serves as a sequel to the Hong Kong TV series 'A Step Into the Past'. 19 years after the events of the series, 21st-century police officer Hong Siu-lung (Louis Koo) remains in the past living a quiet life with his wife and children. The seven warring states have been united under the Qin dynasty and are ruled by Emperor Ying Ching (Raymond Lam). However, when Ken (Michael Miu Kiu-wai), the inventor of the time machine, is released from prison in the present day, he proceeds to travel back in time with the goal of seizing the throne for himself. Ying Ching seeks help from his old friend Hong Siu-lung and together they attempt to thwart Ken's nefarious plans. The cast also includes Jessica Hsuan, Sonija Kwok and Lai-Ming Tang. - Actors:
