Beti Bete is yet another family drama in the LV Prasad mould of filmmaking, with all successful hallmarks - a strong story line, a powerful script and good performances. The film's music by Shanker Jaikishen, at the peak of their career, adds much to its performance in the box office, with hit songs like "Aaj Kal Mein Dhal Gaya", "Gori Chalo Na Hans Ki Chal" and "Radhike Tune Bansari Churai".
