Matt Hayes and Mick Brown are back for a fresh new challenge. They have to dash 700 miles from the west coast of Ireland to the most easterly point in England passing through the best angling sites in the British Isles. But there's a catch...they have only 30 days to reach their destination and one pound of fish equals one mile they can travel, so the heavier the fish, the further they can go!
Days 1-2
The race commences with Matt and Mick at Kilarry off the west coast of Ireland fishing for Dogfish and Rays. With 32lbs of fish in the keepnet, they are able to move onto Perch, Bream and Roach on the beautiful Lough Corrib.
Days 3-4It's a testing time as Matt and Mick leave the Screebe Fishery in West Ireland empty handed, but their luck changes at Lough Oughterard where they catch Bream.
Days 5-6
Up against it, the lads are once again at Lough Corrib where they are hoping to swell their shrinking keepnet by mayfly fishing for Brown Trout. They then continue to Woodford Fishery where pole and feeder fishing lands them an impressive 5lbs Carp.- Actors:
