Naruto and his Genin (rookie ninja) team-mates Sasuke must complete their second exam in order to be considered Chuunin (intermediary level Ninja). In order to avoid flunking mission yet. A harrowing battle of survival to retrieve the two magical scrolls of "Heaven" and "Earth" and to return them to the Tower before the rival ninja teams do so. What at first seems a fairly straightforward mission soon becomes a five day battle for survival against rival teams and hidden Leafs.
