After the sudden and bizarre death of his mother, Jon returns to his old home town with Michelle, his young daughter. Together they share a common desire to bury the past and leave the minute the funeral is over. But all too soon, Jon is confronted by the reincarnated evil that crucified his youth. Every object he touches in his mother's dilapidated house fires his haunted imagination, bringing back to life the scarred memories of his sister's tortured death. Jon fights not to succumb to his superstitions but the local priest, who understands his fear, challenges him to exorcise the demon for all time.
