- An Edwardian detective investigates a series of venomous deaths in this thrilling monster horror from award-winning director Sidney J. Furie. Featuring superstitious villagers, murderous hags, a supernatural wild spirit and a modern take on "the other" in society... Controlling his wife's madness with regular doses of snake venom, Dr. Adderson (John Cazabon) is horrified when she dies giving birth to an unblinking daughter who is cold to the touch. The demented midwife, chased out of the house after trying to murder the baby, returns with an angry mob who set the house ablaze.
