In 1975, the collective "Tillsammans" was a large family. Twenty-four years later, in 1999, it has turned into the world's smallest. Only Göran (Gustaf Hammarsten), the kindest man in the world, and Klasse (Shanti Roney), who weaves his rag rugs, remain. When Klasse secretly invites people to Göran's birthday, everyone reunites for an evening. What has happened in their lives since then? Has it gone well or badly for them? Who became a famous author, and who ended up in a mental hospital? Do the dreams from the seventies still live on? Who remembers Peter (David Dencik)? Does Göran still eat porridge?
