Three long term girlfriends, out for a carefree adult fling, end up 'where the boys are' when they return to the beach resort famous as a vacation destination for young people. When the trio decide to dive into the amorous action, too, unexpected romances make waves in this sexy comedy. The present is boring and the future looks worse for lifelong friends who have taken very different paths. What they need is a change of place. They find it at the notorious holiday resort, also the locale of their last, great adventure together 20 years earlier. The dream holiday nearly crashes on take-off when the three women are stuck in a rundown motel in a town overrun with 10,000 oversexed young adults. The tide soon turns as each gets swept away by an unlikely love. Wholesome, happily married Anne (Shelley Long) is the object of a hunky, younger man's (Ian Ziering) no-so-childish lust - and she's not necessarily fighting it. Claire (Mel Harris), a successful advertising executive, jumps into a romantic tug-of-war with a sexy Olympic superstar (Francois-Eric Gendron) , now a spokesman for her most important client. The worldly charmer, whose reputation precedes him, is more than happy to mix his business with her pleasure. And Denise (Delane Matthews), newly-divorced and unsure of herself, has discovered that her long-ago beau is still on the beach and in her heart. But where romance goes, trouble follows. The thrill of a one-night stand could kill Claire's career. A quick embrace might very well break Anne's marriage vows. Denise finds that, when it comes to the game of sex, the rules have changed since she last played. Before the trip ends, the three make an even bigger splash together on the beach than they did two decades before - and make decisions that might turn the tide of their lives.
