The crew of a WW II submarine are haunted by more than their fears...
The USS Tiger Shark is hot on the keels of Nazi targets in the Atlantic when it stumbles across three survivors from a stricken British merchant vessel. Bringing the new arrivals on board, however, triggers a series of bizarre and even more sinister events - a gramophone starts playing on its own, a copy of Shakespeare's tragedies drops inexplicably from the ceiling, some of the crew start hearing voices...
Pitch Black director David Twohy makes brilliant use of the submarine's gloomy, claustrophobic corridors, as the crew struggle to avoid succumbing to madness and dispair.
