The Lost World tells the story of an incredible expedition through a world untouched by time and civilisation. Determined to prove the existence of a prehistoric plateau where dinosaurs run free, carnivorous plants await their prey and giant insects live, adventurer and scholar Professor Edward Challenger leads a group of unlikely characters to join him in the greatest adventure on earth: a journey to the lost world. Journeying through the uncharted Amazon Jungle, the group must defend themselves against incredible dangers. During a daring escape from Tribal headhunters their hot air balloon crashes on the eerie terrain. Trapped between the present and the past, their attackers are from an age unknown and long forgotten.
