John Cusack's character, Charlie, and his partner Vic, played by Billy Bob Thornton, open the film by stealing over $2 million from their boss, who happens to be in the mob. An interesting idea but it is a bit slow to get going. The best thing about the film is Oliver Platt playing Cusack's best friend who had an affair with his wife and then married her, only to discover she is as cold with him as she was with Cusack. Platt's drunken antics are fairly amusing. There are a few plot twists and turns, but I wasn't exactly gripped!
An Ok movie with comic scenes and twists and turns. Cusack and Thornton gel well together and connie nielsen adds the glamour bur is not all she seems. Watchable but not top of the list.
