- They're down on their luck and up to their necks in Senoritas, Margaritas, Banditos and Bullets! Steve Martin, Chevy Chase and Martin Short travel a dusty road to adventure in this zany mix of sharp one liners and clever sight gags. The "Three Amigos" are a silent screen comedy act who have seen better days. So has a remote Mexican hamlet, which is being terrorized by a fierce bandit gang. Finally, in desperation, a naive villager sends the actors a telegram asking for help. Thinking they're being offered a fortune for a personal appearance, the hapless trio arrives in Mexico, only to discover this time that they're dodging real bullets!

Utterly ludicrous and just as brilliant - Three Amigos! review by Andy
The credits should really tell you all you need to know here, Starring Chevy Chase, Steve Martin and Martin Short, Directed by John Landis, Written by Lorne Michaels, Steve Martin and Randy Newman. Anybody with a passing knowledge of 80's American comedy will know exactly what this film is going to be like.
The jokes, gags and the slapstick are all non-stop with the three leads revelling in the freedom the roles allow. There is nothing big nor clever about anything in this film, but it's hilarious nevertheless. If you like anything from the filmographies of any of the people I've mentioned above, there's a good chance you'll have a ball with Three Amigos.
