Diego Maradona (2019)Maradona
The third film from the Academy Award and BAFTA-winning team behind 'Senna' and 'Amy', 'Diego Maradona' is constructed from over 500 hours of never-before-seen footage from Maradona's personal archive with the full support of the man himself. On the pitch, Diego Maradona was a genius. Off the pitch, he was treated like a God. The charismatic Argentine loved a fight against the odds and led Napoli to their first-ever title. It was the stuff of dreams. But there was a price...Diego could do as he pleased while performing miracles on the pitch but, as time passed, darker days closed in. - Director:

Cul-De-Sac (1966)Ćorsokak
Donald Pleasence and Francoise Dorleac play a mismatched couple - he effeminate and petulant, she sensual and enigmatic - who share a bizzare sexual relationship, living in a remote castle. Their very isolation from the world prevents their eccentric partnership from foundering. Only an outsider can disrupt their make-believe lifestyle. That disruption arrives in the belligerent form of Richard and Albert, two oddball gangsters straight out of a 1940's film noir, wounded, desperate and on the run. They demand shelter, and as Richard waits for instructions from his gangland boss, he slips into a dangerous round of gameplaying with his unwilling hosts. But it seems that Richard is not always to have the upper hand. With its larger-than-life performances, wicked black humour and superb use of striking outdoor locations - the film was shot on Holy Island in Northumberland - Polanski has created an exceptional film which is very different to but no less memorable than Repulsion. - Director:
- Roman Polanski
- Cast:
- Donald Pleasence, Françoise Dorléac, Lionel Stander

Internationally renowned pianist Glenn Gould had all the marks of genius - blinding talent, a craving for perfection and absolute bullheadedness. In 'Thirty Two Short Films About Glenn Gould', director Francois Girard goes directly to the center of Gould's ideas, his passions and his music. Using thirty-two elegantly constructed vignettes, which span Gould's life from age four until his untimely death at age fifty, the film achieves the rare balance between play and conceptual rigor. Each of the thirty-two selections dramatizes a variation on the theme of Glenn Gould, depicting the many diverse aspects of his life - from artist to financier, humorist to nature lover, recluse to iconoclast - and the result is a powerful impressionistic mosaic of genius. - Director:
- François Girard
