- Synopsis:
The zany comics arc at peak form in this nonsensical foray into the jungle. Transported from the city to the interior of Africa because of Costello's believed ability to draw a map showing them the location of a vast cache of diamonds. Bud Abbott augments his usual straight man's job with some blithe make believe as a crazed diamond hunter. Lou Costello milks the laughs for all they're worth. Hillary Brooke is the conspiring leading lady. Max and Buddy Baer are amusingly teamed as a pair of tough goons. Shemp Howard makes the most of an elegant part of a nearsighted sharpshooter. Joe Besser's minty comedy style is a show in itself, as Abbott and Costello do themselves no harm by sharing the laugh spotlight. - Actors:
