Gethsemane (Tamera Mowry-Housley) and Griff (Marco Grazzini) go on an official unofficial date when Griff's friend Ty (Chris Newman) needs a replacement violinist for his wedding in two days, in the process Griff asking Gethsemane to be his plus 1 for the weekend. Most of those at the small wedding are Ty's longtime friends who went to school together which also includes Siobhan (Julie Lamberton) acting as the wedding planner, the only exceptions being Griff, Ty his first real friend when he moved to town, Gethsemane, and the bride and maid of honor, Sunny (Thalia Heffernan) and Agnes (Tara McCarthy). Those friends have a history, both good and bad which exists to present day. And one person missing is Braden, one in their social circle who died years ago in a car accident, he who they always set a place for at any gathering for this group. Ty and Sunny, an antiques dealer and a social media influencer, respectively, are giving up their jobs to enter into a new venture together in opening a bed and breakfast. One other non-guest is Eamon (Risteard Cooper), who shows up just because he loves weddings. The morning after their arrival at the inn where the wedding is taking place, Gethsemane and Eamon go for a walk up to the lighthouse on the property, when they discover a dead body, that of someone associated with the wedding, who seeming fell off the lighthouse. "Someone" else they discover at the lighthouse is the ghost of Colm Moody, the former owner of the inn who died five years ago in similar circumstances, who has been stuck in limbo at the lighthouse since, and whose son, Daniel (Bob Kelly), now runs the inn. Colm saw some of what happened, and can confirm that the victim not only fell but may have been pushed. Gethsemane and Eamon try to help both Colm figure out the unfinished business that is keeping him at the lighthouse, while try to figure out who the murderer is among the wedding participants and guests, with one added suspect being Daniel. While this incident does also mar what was supposed to be the start of a possible something more between Griff and Gethsemane, something else also does in the form of Inspector O'Reilly (Adam Fergus) who is leading the police investigation.
