- Synopsis:
- Daniel Kaluuya and Kibwer Tavares co-direct this British sci-fi drama set in a dystopian future London. All provision of social housing has been eradicated and its community of residents refuse to leave their homes, living in an area known as The Kitchen. As the authorities begin to tighten their control over The Kitchen and power struggles ensue between the residents, Izi (Kane Robinson) must decide whether to take an opportunity to leave The Kitchen for one of the more wealthy, newly-developed areas surrounding it or stay behind to fight for it. A chance encounter with a teenage boy named Benji (Jedaiah Bannerman), whom Izi takes under his wing, forces him to question everything.
