A Victorian family prepares a paper theatre for a performance of 'A Christmas Carol'. The audience enters the imagination of one of the children and quickly, the cardboard stage transforms to reveal a magical world containing real dancers and stylised sets. The classic tale unfolds in a rich tapestry of highly absorbing, theatrical drama featuring sumptuous visual effects inspired by the techniques of early cinema. In a daring twist of format, characters are portrayed by dancers and voiced by an eclectic cast of the world's most recognisable actors. Very Disapointing - A Christmas Carol review by GBK
This must be the worse telling of this classic story that i have ever seen, I could not watch it all as it was that bad, You have various people narrating the story while a bunch of others prance around the set like demented idiots, A Total waste of time, I would not recomend this at all

Grotesquely self-indulgent but Sian Phillips is wonderful - A Christmas Carol review by SJ
Oh my goodness me, how to totally ruin a traditional story. The voices are all wonderful, if only they'd stuck with the actors. The music is somewhat aggravating and the dancers are offensive. Avoid at all costs.
