- Synopsis:
- From director William Castle (The Whistler, The Tingler) comes Undertow, a riveting tale of betrayal starring Scott Brady (The China Syndrome), Dorothy Hart (Larceny), and Bruce Bennett (Sahara). Reformed Chicago mobster Tony Reagan (Brady) is framed for the murder of his former boss, Big Jim, the uncle of his fiancée, Sally (Hart). Forced to go on the run, he seeks to clear his name with the help of an old friend (Bennett). Featuring supporting turns from John Russell (Rio Bravo) and Peggy Dow (Harvey), and an early appearance from Rock Hudson, Undertow is a superior film noir.
