A dowdy nurse, Leah (Josiane Balasko), is in love with her boss (Richard Berry) but he only has eyes for bimbos. She sells her soul to the Devil's apprentice, Abargadon (Daniel Auteuil) in return for a new bimbo makeover to snare her boss... Abar realizes his mistake as he should have done the deal with Leah's miserable, moaning old mother. The contact is deemed null and void by Gabriel (Michael Lonsdale) and the Devil (Tricky Holgado) has to find another soul to take as Leah and Abargadone find themselves falling in love.
