Eleven years ago, Jack Riley went on a brutal killing spree murdering fifteen people including his own mother. He was seventeen years old. A re-examination of his case finds that Jack hadn't received a fair trial and he is set free. The uproar surrounding his release soon dies away but one woman will not let it go. Karen Cook, the sole survivor of Jack's knife wielding sadistic rampage, makes it her mission to hunt the maniac down before he kills again. Then, on one stormy night in the town of Downer's Grove, killer and victim meet again and the body count grows as they close in on each other for one final, bloody confrontation.
