- Rubie Price and her adorable puppy D.O.G. are always in the limelight. The most popular girl in school and a princess to her dad and new step-mum, Rubie and D.O.G. are granted any wish they desire. However, Rubie has a mean streak and is cruel to other school children when she doesn't get her way. Santa decides to teach Rubie what the spirit of Christmas is all about, and, making her as ugly on the outside as she is within, sets Rubie the challenge of receiving a Christmas gift from a true friend. Setting out with D.O.G., Rubie must learn the importance of family, friendship and bringing happiness to others at the most wonderful time of the year.
