Started alright... - The Call review by TH

The first half hour sets the scene well but the characters are fairly undeveloped. There is a lack of scared and all feels a bit amateurish. Tobin Bell is wasted in this film and deserves something better.

the film starts off well and makes you think your in for a decent second half of action but no.

I was expecting somthing simular to the saw movies but this is more like a rubbish version of nightmare on elm street with an ending that makes you wish youd turned it off half way though.

Don't pick up - The Call review by AER

Spoiler Alert
23/02/2023

Sadly the acting talents of Lin Shaye and Tobin Bell (who appear in extended cameos despite the top billing) cannot save this plodding, badly edited, and ultimately very boring horror film. It has a great concept which is thoroughly squandered and for the most part the script and outcome of the plot is dire. Don't pick up the phone.
